september 12th-20th, 2013. dr. weber talked about the use of informatics tool to mining of silent gene clusters and the possibility of heterologous expression of such clusters. meantime, staffs of fermentation & biotechnology group and dr. weber exchanged the experience of the projects from each side, also a preliminary collaboration agreement on mining of insecticide biosynthetic gene clusters is drawn up.
